Samm & Jay

Stuckeyville Bio
Samm Leung is a likable, boyish-looking actor with thick eyebrows, friendly smile (Justin Long) and is an amazing 6′ 3″(Josh Randall) which can be a problem at times when talking to short asian girls. Despite his height though, he isn’t intensely muscular. Samm states, “I know I’m never going to be a hard body, and I’m okay with that. The more I’ve accepted myself the more attractive I am” (Jana Marie Hupp). He is fluent in Italian and a spokesperson for neutrogena (Julie Bowen). He is most proud of his role as the voice of the pets.com sock puppet (Michael Ian Black, previously name Michael Schwartz) which most likely developed from the time he was seven-years-old and took over directing his classmate’s performances in his grade two school play (Rachel Cronin).

Samuel (Samm) Leung:

Yes, he uses two m’s to shorten his name, and wishes that he had a middle name as cool as Parnell.

Samm is a man of many talents. While excelling at karate (black belt), piano (grade 10 RCM), Guitar Hero (”More Than a Feeling” - highest level) and Engineering (2008 University of Manitoba scholarship winner) are all great achievements - it is as a drumming wide receiver that Samm finds the most high-fives, pats on the back, and shakes of the hand. Samm’s hand-eye coordination needed to catch (or intercept) a football is gracefully expressed with Buddy Rich-like syncopated beats, and his sensational passing routes are characterized with Larry Mullen precision. Incidentally, Philip Lapatha taught him how to play the drums. Got that? PHILIP LAPATHA.

Anyway…

Sadly, the world will never completely know of this young man’s talent because of the ubiquitous pop culture’s ludicrous parading, promotion, and professing of all things Justin, Paris, Miley, or Rihanna. So dumb (I mean really: “Umbrella-ella-ella-hey-hey-hey”). Hence, Samm has taken up interest in the 10-dollar bets with his brilliant friend Jason Dong in order to penetrate the quintessential funny bone to a hearty guffaw instead of all-too-often only being tickled to chuckle by the world’s bad humour. After all, as the never-said-before adage goes: “If you can’t one-up the world, you can try to one-up your friend.”

Samm lives in Winnipeg where Milt Stegall of the Blue Bombers also lives for about six months of the year. Winnipeg is Samm’s hometown and he loves the friends and family that come with the city.

Stuckeyville Bio
Jay Dong was born and raised in the delightful Winnipeg on February 9, 1981. His father works as an executive for a car-stereo manufacturer and his mom is a beautfiul housewife (Lesley Boone). When Jay was six, his close-knit family of twelve (Daryl Mitchell) moved to Ghana, Africa. He later returned to attend Queens University in Kingston, Ontario where he played on the basketball team and graduated with degrees in English, Biology, and Education. (Tom Cavanagh). On top of all this He writes and records original music with his guitar and has two cats, Lucy and Theodore (Sabrina Lloyd).

Jason (Jay) Parnell Dong:

Yes, his middle name really is Parnell.

A former member of the League of Extraordinary Gentlemen, Jay put away his superpowers of creating mountains out of molehills in order to concentrate on developing the right and left hemispheres of his brain. Thus, his ongoing cerebral diet dwells mainly on computers for his left side and guitar playing for his right side. He is skillful and successful at both endeavours, and at the present frequencies of engagement, in due time, he will exceed the spacial restraints of his skull.

Therefore, in order to slow down the inevitable mind expansion and the oozing from his ears and nose, he has resorted to participating in a series of 10-dollar bets with his imaginative friend Samuel Leung. (Note: imaginative, not imaginary.) By going through the rigours of these 10-dollar bets, Jay has been able to periodically stupefy his thoughts with humour and dumbfound his intellect with the outrageous.

Jay lives in the fantastic city of Winnipeg where genius, boredom, wit, lucidity, and industriousness mix well with idiosyncratic weather and people to generate one of the most dynamic communities in which to belong. Jay would be the genius part.

Jay is single and loves long walks on the beach, the art of photography, and most importantly will never say no to a 10 dollar bet.
